MailBos helps users manage professional email workflows, AI-assisted drafting, follow-up reminders, contact context, and account verification. This policy explains what information MailBos processes and how that information is used.
Information we collect
- Account information, such as your email address, authentication status, and verification status.
- Plan and usage information, such as subscription status, usage counters, and feature limits.
- User-provided content, such as company context, contact notes, draft instructions, and email workflow information you choose to store or process in MailBos.
- Technical information required to operate the service, such as session data, security logs, and application diagnostics.
How we use information
We use information to provide MailBos features, authenticate users, verify email addresses, operate the desktop app login flow, generate email drafts, organize contacts, support follow-up workflows, maintain security, and improve reliability.
Google API data use
MailBos may access Google user data only after you explicitly authorize access through Google OAuth. Depending on the permissions you grant, MailBos may access data such as your email address, basic profile information, Gmail messages, Gmail labels, draft emails, sent emails, and related email metadata.
MailBos uses Google API data only to provide user-facing features such as email management, AI-assisted drafting, follow-up reminders, search, contact organization, and productivity tools.
MailBos does not sell Google user data, does not use Google user data for advertising, and does not use Google user data to train general AI models.
MailBos's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Microsoft Graph API data use
MailBos may access Microsoft account data only after you authorize access through Microsoft OAuth. Depending on the permissions you grant, MailBos may process Outlook email data, mailbox metadata, draft and sent-message information, calendar or contact-related data where enabled, and basic Microsoft account profile information.
Microsoft Graph API data is used only to provide requested MailBos functionality, including Outlook email workflows, AI-assisted drafts, follow-up reminders, search, contact context, and productivity features. MailBos does not sell Microsoft account data, does not use it for advertising, and does not use it to train general AI models.
Data sharing
We do not sell personal information. We may share limited information with service providers only when necessary to operate MailBos, such as authentication, hosting, database, analytics, email delivery, or customer support providers. These providers are expected to process information only for the service-related purpose.
Security and secrets
Production API secrets, private tokens, and developer credentials should be stored server-side or in managed environment variables. They should not be shipped inside the public website bundle or desktop app bundle.
Data retention and deletion
We retain information for as long as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and maintain security. You may request account deletion or data deletion by contacting us.
Disconnecting third-party accounts
You may revoke Google or Microsoft access at any time from your Google Account or Microsoft Account permissions page. Disconnecting access may disable related MailBos features.
